Boys, queue up in an orderly fashion and no pushing, as the sultry siren, Megan Fox, zips into the capital on June 6 for the launch of the new LG Cinema 3D Smart TV. The Hollywood starlet, who was voted by FHM magazine as the Sexiest Woman Alive two years running, will be making a special appearance at the Ferrari World Theme Park on Monday between 6pm and 11pm.
Fox made her acting debut at the age of 16 in the 2001 film “Holiday in the Sun”, as spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace and rival of Alex Stewart (Ashley Olsen), which was released direct-to-DVD. Over the years she found some fame on TV shows such as “Hope and Faith”, “What I Like About You” and “Two and a Half Men”. But 2007 shot her from obscurity into the limelight when she won the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in live-action film “Transformers”, based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name. Since then, there has been no looking back.

The Maui Film Festival, returning to Wailea and the MACC June 15 to 19, has announced its latest va-va-voom luminary: Megan Fox will receive its new Iris Award. Probably best known for her “Transformers” rolls, the young actress will accept the honor at a gala opening-night ceremony at the festival’s majestic outdoor Celestial Cinema, followed by a screening of “Na Nai‘a: Legend of the Dolphins,” in which she shares the narrating duties with a host of other stars.
