IMAX Corporation, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures today announced that director Michael Bay will shoot key sequences of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with IMAX cameras. Bay will integrate the IMAX footage with state of the art CGI to create an unprecedented look and feel for the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s box office hit, Transformers. As previously announced, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released to IMAX theatres simultaneously with the movie’s wide release on June 26, 2009.

Today Megan was spotted on the Transformers 2 set, fondling her womanlihood, to say it bluntly – haha! This is also another new outfit/look for Mikaela which is always fun to see (if the first part didn’t get you excited enough :tongue: ). Miss Megan is looking insanely gorgeous in these! There is also a new teaser poster for the film which I’ve also added to the gallery.

Earlier this week, we reported on a developing story coming out of the production of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Various fan sites had been reporting that the injury suffered by actor Shia LaBeouf in a car accident at the end of July. The report said that LaBeouf’s hand injury would be sidelining him for up to 4 weeks, and that the 1st unit of the production was put on hiatus. The report also stated that while 1st unit production had been stopped, the second unit was continuing work on scenery shots, cutaways and shots of objects.

As it turns out, this report has turned out to be misguided, as extremely reliable sources have informed us this afternoon that Shia LaBeouf is scheduled to return to work tomorrow. This would keep the first unit on track and avoid any delays in production, at least for the foreseeable future.

This news should come as a relief to Transformers fans and those involved in the project, as we can safely assume that this slight hickup will not affect that film’s June 26, 2009 release date. As always, we will be keeping a close eye on the production, bringing you more updates as they arise.

ComingSoon.net has confirmed today that DreamWorks/Paramount will release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both conventional theaters and IMAX.

Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released on June 26, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas, Rainn Wilson and Jennifer Alden.

The first Transformers originally hit conventional theaters on July 2, 2007 and then was released in IMAX on September 21, 2007.

Megan was photographed once more on the set of Transformers 2 yesterday. Again we see a new look for her. Also the logo for the film has been released to the official site (nothing to fancy mind you) but exciting stuff none the less!

Megan Fox, who reprises the role of Mikaela Banes in Michael Bay’s upcoming sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, told SCI FI Wire that the movie is crazier than the first one in terms of action “by like a hundred.”

“I’m doing good,” Fox said in an interview in Santa Monica, Calif., on July 14. “I’ve had like four injuries so far. So I’m accumulating the injuries and just going on with it. It’s fun. It’s what it is. It’s a Michael Bay movie.”

Part of that is being tossed around in the same yellow Camaro as in the first film, Fox said. “There’s a different Bumblebee, the yellow one that you see in the movie, that we drive,” she said, adding: “I don’t drive it, but it drives at like 120 miles an hour, and we’re in it with no seat belts or harnesses or anything. It’s, if we die, we die, all in the name of Transformers.”

Megan Fox had to gain weight for her next film – after her director deemed her too skinny.

“I had to put on size for Transformers II because [director] Michael [Bay] doesn’t like skinny girls,” Fox, 22, said. “I had three weeks to gain weight, and I put on 10 lbs.”

The actress, who said she got “really scrawny” for her role in the upcoming zombie film Jennifer’s Body, indulged in some of her favorite foods to gain back her curves: “You know Doughboys?” she asked of the trendy Hollywood eatery. “They make that red velvet cake. I seriously have that every night before I go to bed.”

“I don’t really eat that healthy,” added the actress, who talked to reporters at FOX’s Television Critics Association party July 14 (she attended with boyfriend Brian Austin Green, who stars in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). “I have a really bad sugar tooth.”
