ComingSoon.net has confirmed today that DreamWorks/Paramount will release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both conventional theaters and IMAX.
Michael Bay’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released on June 26, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas, Rainn Wilson and Jennifer Alden.
The first Transformers originally hit conventional theaters on July 2, 2007 and then was released in IMAX on September 21, 2007.

Megan was photographed once more on the set of Transformers 2 yesterday. Again we see a new look for her. Also the logo for the film has been released to the official site (nothing to fancy mind you) but exciting stuff none the less!

Megan Fox, who reprises the role of Mikaela Banes in Michael Bay’s upcoming sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, told SCI FI Wire that the movie is crazier than the first one in terms of action “by like a hundred.”
“I’m doing good,” Fox said in an interview in Santa Monica, Calif., on July 14. “I’ve had like four injuries so far. So I’m accumulating the injuries and just going on with it. It’s fun. It’s what it is. It’s a Michael Bay movie.”
Part of that is being tossed around in the same yellow Camaro as in the first film, Fox said. “There’s a different Bumblebee, the yellow one that you see in the movie, that we drive,” she said, adding: “I don’t drive it, but it drives at like 120 miles an hour, and we’re in it with no seat belts or harnesses or anything. It’s, if we die, we die, all in the name of Transformers.”

Megan Fox had to gain weight for her next film – after her director deemed her too skinny.
“I had to put on size for Transformers II because [director] Michael [Bay] doesn’t like skinny girls,” Fox, 22, said. “I had three weeks to gain weight, and I put on 10 lbs.”
The actress, who said she got “really scrawny” for her role in the upcoming zombie film Jennifer’s Body, indulged in some of her favorite foods to gain back her curves: “You know Doughboys?” she asked of the trendy Hollywood eatery. “They make that red velvet cake. I seriously have that every night before I go to bed.”
“I don’t really eat that healthy,” added the actress, who talked to reporters at FOX’s Television Critics Association party July 14 (she attended with boyfriend Brian Austin Green, who stars in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). “I have a really bad sugar tooth.”

Megan Fox is still one of the slimmest starlets in Tinseltown, but the uber-sexy screen siren was sporting a few more much-needed curves beneath her Star Wars T-shirt and jeans at the FOX Television Critics Association party in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday night.
Fox was forced to gain 10 pounds in three weeks for her role in the second Transformers movie following a dramatic and dangerous weight loss for her last film, Jennifer’s Body.
“I should have toned up for Transformers but I’m really lazy. I had to put on weight,” she told Pop Tarts. “I’d lost a lot of weight and got really scrawny, but I was told I had to put on size for Transformers because Michael [Bay, the director] doesn’t like skinny girls.”
But what dangerous dieting regime did Megan use to pop the pounds in the first place?
“I just stopped eating,” she said. “I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now I eat red velvet cake before I go to bed every night and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”
The filming for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen kicked off just last month, and while the 22-year-old was under strict orders not to say too much, it seems there will be a few disappointed male admirers.
“There are no big love scenes,” Fox said. “At this point Shi and I have been dating for two years so we’re at the bickering stage, like an old married couple.”
