We don’t know too much about Judd Apatow’s “Knocked Up” spin-off movie project, other than the fact that it centers around lovable/slightly dysfunctional couple Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann), a few years after the events that occur in the Katherine Heigl, Seth Rogen pregnancy comedy. Also, if we know one thing about Apatow comedies, it is more than likely that a slew of famous faces will appear in the film, be it in a supporting or cameo role. Apatow has been cagey about revealing any more casting or cameo details, but one interesting addition that was actually announced back in March is Megan Fox, and although we don’t yet know who she plays in the film, star Leslie Mann assured us that she is a welcome addition to the cast.
“Megan Fox is so funny,” she told us Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Change-Up.” “She’s hilarious. You wouldn’t, I don’t know if other people [expect it], but I think she’s really funny, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.”
So who does she play in the film?
“I can’t say that part,” she said with a smile, backing up her husband’s comments earlier this year regarding spoilers. The rest is a secret because it doesn’t come out until 2012 and if you already knew what it was about for a year and a half, you wouldn’t even want to see it,” he told us. “There will be people who are really interesting in the movie,” he teased. “And some familiar people who are in the movie.”
Are you excited to see Megan Fox’s comedic chops? Tell us in the comments!

His character ended up as potential shark food in the movie “Titanic,” but now actor Leonardo DiCaprio has joined more than a dozen other celebrities in urging state lawmakers to do more to protect the ocean predators from being devoured by humans. DeCaprio joined actresses Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson, pro basketball legend Yao Ming, pop star Ke$ha and others in writing to the state Senate urging it to approve legislation that would prohibit the possession and sale in California of shark fins, a popular soup ingredient in some communities.
Assembly Bill 376 will acknowledge the importance of the continued existence of the shark species to maintain a healthy ocean ecosystem,’’ said a letter signed by DiCaprio and others. “The International Union for the Conservation of Nature has concluded that a third of shark species are now threatened with extinction of some kind.’’
The measure, which has been passed by the state Assembly, is opposed by the Asian Food Trade Assn., which says banning the fins without banning the rest of shark meat “unfairly targets the Chinese and Asian eating habits,’’ according to an analysis by legislative staff.

The actress revealed that she and husband Brian Austin Green are heading to Hawaii to celebrate their upcoming one-year anniversary, and Fox says she’s pretty sure her other half is going to want to renew their wedding vows.
I didn’t think that I was into it until my relationship with Brian,” Fox, 25, admitted about the romantic gesture. “He’s very sensitive and very emotional. He’s a Cancer so he’s very all about feelings and relationships and he cries about everything. He’ll want to do it so I’ll do it for him.”
In addition to renewing their vows, the couple has plans to swim with dolphins — something Green isn’t too keen on.
My husband is terrified of sharks but we’re going to do it anyway,” Fox told E! News. “Sharks don’t usually go where there are tons of dolphins so we can do it. I didn’t used to be (scared of sharks), but I am now because of him. His fear is so intense, it’s smothered me and now I’m afraid.”

Dressed in black cigarette pants, a black lace long sleeve top, with gold jewellery, a slick of black nail varnish and hair thrown back into a casual up-style, Megan Fox, although covered up from head to toe, oozed every inch of her sex symbol status when she arrived in Abu Dhabi for the launch of LG’s new 3D televisions at Ferrari World, clinging to her hubby Brian Austin Green’s hand. Ahlan! Live’s Shannon Wylie was there and spoke to Megan about Transformers, her favourite starring role and her hottest co-stars.
The hottest co-star… I guess that the majority of women would think that is Josh Duhamel,”
Still a fan of the movie that made her famous, Megan insisted that Transformers would be a hot choice on the box.
Obviously any of the Transformers movies are going to look incredible in 3D.”
Despite insisting that she doesn’t watch her own movies in 2D let alone in 3D, because she gets “embarrassed”, Megan didn’t need to think twice about which film she would watch given the chance.
I think Jennifer’s Body would be interesting in 3D because I eat people in that and it would be strange and frightening and exciting all at the same time.”

Boys, queue up in an orderly fashion and no pushing, as the sultry siren, Megan Fox, zips into the capital on June 6 for the launch of the new LG Cinema 3D Smart TV. The Hollywood starlet, who was voted by FHM magazine as the Sexiest Woman Alive two years running, will be making a special appearance at the Ferrari World Theme Park on Monday between 6pm and 11pm.
Fox made her acting debut at the age of 16 in the 2001 film “Holiday in the Sun”, as spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace and rival of Alex Stewart (Ashley Olsen), which was released direct-to-DVD. Over the years she found some fame on TV shows such as “Hope and Faith”, “What I Like About You” and “Two and a Half Men”. But 2007 shot her from obscurity into the limelight when she won the lead female role of Mikaela Banes in live-action film “Transformers”, based on the toy and cartoon saga of the same name. Since then, there has been no looking back.

Screenwriter Mitch Glazer has forged an impressive career, with such diverse titles under his belt such as Scrooged, Great Expectations, and The Recruit. Like most writers, though, Mitch Glazer has also wanted to direct, and he finally makes his directorial debut with the drama Passion Play, a project which has been in the making for the past 20 years. Mitch Glazer originally wanted his wife Kelly Lynch to star as Lily, a circus performer who has large bird wings growing out of her back, along with his lifelong friend Mickey Rourke. Mickey Rourke stars as Nate Poole, a jazz musician who flees from a mobster (Bill Murray) when he finds a traveling circus and the lovely winged woman Lily, portrayed by Megan Fox.
You have been good friends with Mickey for years and your wife Kelly is in this as well. Can you talk about discovering Megan for this role and the things you brought out of her in this performance?
Mitch Glazer: Absolutely. I had never seen the Transformers films. When it first saw her pictures, I just went, ‘My God. That’s her!’ The director of Jennifer’s Body had shown me a few cut scenes together, because the movie hadn’t come out yet, just so I could see what she looked like on screen. That was it, really. We had a lunch, she and I, and she read the script three or four times and was really connected to it already. There was a vulnerability to her aside from her beauty. It was a neighborhood restaurant that we eat at a lot and I’ve never seen paparazzi there. This poor woman, they followed her there, as a pack. We’re eating and I look through the glass window and there are all these big guys out there taking photos of her. I realized that Megan’s real life had prepared her for the role of a woman who is paid money for men to look at her in a glass box. She’s already there, because of her beauty and celebrity, she was already an object, as Lily is. She was connected to the script in a lot of ways. She showed up, literally, fully formed. I don’t even know if I know who Megan Fox is. I know Lily. She wrote me an email, days after leaving the set, saying, ‘I miss Lily.’ That’s all she wrote, and I believed she did. It was a perfect fit between actress and part. I love her performance in it. I think it’s really subtle and controlled and beautiful.

The Maui Film Festival, returning to Wailea and the MACC June 15 to 19, has announced its latest va-va-voom luminary: Megan Fox will receive its new Iris Award. Probably best known for her “Transformers” rolls, the young actress will accept the honor at a gala opening-night ceremony at the festival’s majestic outdoor Celestial Cinema, followed by a screening of “Na Nai‘a: Legend of the Dolphins,” in which she shares the narrating duties with a host of other stars.
