With its latest additions — including a Hollywood who’s-who of A-list celebrity guests — the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival is now guaranteed to blow your mind.
Nowhere is that more evident than in the Mavericks program, which has evolved into a powerhouse after launching years ago as a quirky sideshow. Edward Norton will interview Bruce Springsteen live on stage, Canadian basketball superstar Steve Nash will introduce his inspirational ESPN documentary Into the Wind, Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman will sit down for an in-depth session with Canada AM host Seamus O’Regan, and bombastic filmmaker Michael Moore will interview British leftie filmmakers Ken Loach and Paul Laverty, who use their cinema as a political tool.
The fest runs from Sept. 9-19.
The celebrity guest list could hardly be more impressive: Clint Eastwood, Jon Hamm, David Suzuki, Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank, Colin Firth, Robert Redford, Keanu Reeves, Steve Coogan, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Phillippe, Ryan Reynolds, Woody Harrelson, Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, Bill Murray, Uma Thurman, Rachelle Lefevre, Natalie Portman, Clive Owen, Matt Damon, Javier Bardem, Paul Giamatti, Aamir Khan and Megan Fox are among the hundreds who have signed on. Set in the desert and laced with the deep elements of a modern fable, Passion Play tells the tale of Nate (Mickey Rourke), a down-on-his-luck jazz trumpet player who forms a bond with Lily (Megan Fox), a woman born with wings who has wound up as a carnival sideshow attraction. Together these two damaged souls undertake a turbulent romantic journey while trying to avoid the witty and menacing Happy (Bill Murray), a local gangster.

Back on the mainland after eloping in Hawaii, Megan Fox was spotted out in Los Angeles, California on Friday (July 2).With rumors already circulating about a possible pregnancy, the “Jonah Hex” hottie glanced at paparazzi while discretely making her way into a local medical building.

Shortly after they announced their re-engagement, reports tell that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have gotten married in Hawaii.

According to Star magazine, the former “Transformers” actress and her “Beverly Hills 90210″ exchanged nuptials in Hawaii just this past week.

“They had a fairly large wedding, but there were clearly more security people than guests!” a source dishes. “They had so many security people that they had to call in local security because the hotel security alone wouldn’t do. It was very hush hush. Everyone was sworn to secrecy.”

Per Star’s insiders, the wedding took place on Thursday or Friday at the Four Seasons Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu on the big island of Hawaii.

Of the big day’s setting, the source tells,

“The place is perfect for a Hollywood wedding. It’s very romantic and scenic. Megan and Brian had already been there for a few days. It seemed like a spur of the moment thing. I don’t think it had been planned long.”

With the “I Do’s” coming after 6 years of on/off dating, the pair are said to still be enjoying time in the Pacific island locale.

“Megan and Brian are still there at the hotel, relaxing. They’re now celebrating their honeymoon.”

She has been on and off with Brian Austin Green since 2004 and Megan Fox says her second engagement to him is just as special as the first time.The “Jonah Hex” actress told press,

“It’s really not a re-engagement. It’s just the same engagement and for some reason now it’s a news story.”

Megan, who called things off with Green back in February of 2009 and was betrothed again by June, said she’s even crazier about her fiancé than ever before.

“I’m more in love with him now than I was in the beginning. We’re just even more committed to each other than we always have been.”

Giving engagement another go, Megan Fox has reportedly accepted Brian Austin Green’s second proposal.According to Us magazine, the former “Beverly Hills 90210″ star got down on one knee on June 1st – with the former “Transformers” star happily accepting.With the joyous occasion happening during a Hawaiian getaway, a source tells of the scene,

“I saw her jumping up and down.”

Making for a bit of a snafu, Miss Fox then reportedly lost her diamond ring, as the insider tells,

“Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand.”

And while the engagement’s still on, there never was any luck in finding the 2 karat sparkler, as another Us source adds, “Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it. No one found it.”
